The artist's message is that gradually everything and everyone loses not only color, but also clarity and strength. Everything is ultimately impermanent. Initially, this work contained various visible objects, animals and people, mainly even in primary colours. Gradually, as the work grew and evolved, they slipped into irrelevance and eventually faded into the background entirely.
